understandinguncertainty.org was produced by the Winton programme for the public understanding of risk based in the Statistical Laboratory in the University of Cambridge. The aim was to help improve the way that uncertainty and risk are discussed in society, and show how probability and statistics can be both useful and entertaining.
Many of the animations were produced using Flash and will no longer work.
I made friends with woman who shares my same birthday. Two of my friend who live on opposite ends of US and who are not friends themselves had babies on the same day same year. My neighbors son was born on the same day as my father's passing, same day, different years. I also wrote Bach coincidences below. I think some ppl r better at connecting the dots than others and notice coincidences better, like analytical/visual/mathmatical minds.
