Immortality coincidence

As of the 23rd May 2022 this website is archived and will receive no further updates.

understandinguncertainty.org was produced by the Winton programme for the public understanding of risk based in the Statistical Laboratory in the University of Cambridge. The aim was to help improve the way that uncertainty and risk are discussed in society, and show how probability and statistics can be both useful and entertaining.

Many of the animations were produced using Flash and will no longer work.

For some reason I came back to this site tonight to see if any more stories had been added after my ESP entry: understandinguncertainty.org/user-submitted-coincidences/proof-esp I was reading the one about correlations with TV and radio dialogue: understandinguncertainty.org/user-submitted-coincidences/matching-nameocurancenumberevent which reminded me of what happened during what my sister called "A dissociative breakdown" - such correlations became more meaningful for me at that time and I have kept the mad data that I wrote down at that time- there seemed to be something that suggested the planet was facing weather changes and to be aware of hardy food sources like plants. Anyhow -that is another story. Prior to coming here to read,I had been thinking that if Satan existed,he would be happy to provide immortality to someone since this would fly in the face of God's decree post THE FALL that we are all mortal ( I am atheist),and at the same time I was reading this blog I was reading the online version of the METRO newspaper. I just turned to page 12 of today's edition: e-edition.metro.co.uk/2013/01/14/ The article is called "What price do we place on immortality?".... I suddenly have a creepy sensation going back to my dissociation, similar to the matching number events article on this blog. Just as a more creepy addition - I woke up at 9.40 this morning to a couple of knocks on the door - thinking it was the postman or my brother who was due to call - I rushed downstairs, only to find no one at the open door or in the street at all. Perhaps the guy who knows my codelock knows I have a new one with the same code??!!!
