Four coincidences

. The victorian shilling: While in class at primary school aged 10 or 11 I purchased from my classroom neighbour a late Victorian shilling I had not seen one before. The next day whilst crossing a grass island on the way to school I saw something glint in the sun,it was an early Victorian shilling.[My schoolfriend lived in the opposite direction]. Dog reunited: We have a friend who had moved to Wapping from Dulwich S.E. london 5 years previously.When she moved she gave her dog Harry to a friend of a friend.She used to meet up with them at Crystal Palace park sometimes.One evening my partner and I were having dinner at the friend's flat in a private complex,I asked if she still saw the dog,no, the new owners had moved to Hertfordshire and she had completely lost touch.She had not seen the dog for years. When we left our friend saw us to the the front door of the complex.On returning to her flat she turned a corner and met her dog with its owner. They were visiting friends who also lived in the complex and had come out for a stroll. Hendrix: I have been a fan of Jimi Hendrix for over fourty years,in 1991 I had recently read the late Noel Redding's autobiography [he was the bass player with the Jimi Hendrix Experience]. Move on to autumn 91 I was traveling to New York on my way to Jamaica,I was going to meet my girl friend there as I could'nt get the same flight as her. This was the first time I had flown. On the 747 I sat in the rearmost pair of seats where one could smoke and be near the toilets,I was thinking as we waited to take off that this is the same rout that the Experience took when going to the Monterey Pop Festival as an unknown act. Fantastic! there's a documentry about Hendrix on the in-flight entertainment. Just then Noel Redding sat down next to me. One in a .............? : Last year, whilst walking and getting into my car I could hear a bleeping which turned out to be the keys on my mobile phone being pressed in my pocket,the screen was full of stars hash marks and random numbers which I cleared. The next day the phone rang and the person said, "Hello,I missed a call from you yesterday,who is that?" The phone had dialed my partners sister's mobile.My number was not in her contacts nor hers in mine,and we had never communicated using these phones.
