understandinguncertainty.org was produced by the Winton programme for the public understanding of risk based in the Statistical Laboratory in the University of Cambridge. The aim was to help improve the way that uncertainty and risk are discussed in society, and show how probability and statistics can be both useful and entertaining.
Many of the animations were produced using Flash and will no longer work.
Every year the following events always fall on the same day of the week (including leap years):
My birthday 23rd Oct, my brother's birthday 18th Dec, both of my Parents birthdays 3rd Apr & 10th July, my daughter's birthday 21st Aug, my wedding anniversary 4th Sept, and Christmas day. Also the following New Year's day falls on the same day. this year (2012) it's all Tuesdays.
