understandinguncertainty.org was produced by the Winton programme for the public understanding of risk based in the Statistical Laboratory in the University of Cambridge. The aim was to help improve the way that uncertainty and risk are discussed in society, and show how probability and statistics can be both useful and entertaining.
Many of the animations were produced using Flash and will no longer work.
For a number of years I worked for a boss and we... shared the same birthday, 7th May but he was 2 years older....we were married on the same date, 24th October 1970....my brother and his wife shared the same birthday, 13th March but different years...he lived in Barnet round the corner from my mother-in-law....his wife taught in the school next to the church in Monken Hadley where my wife and I had been married
