understandinguncertainty.org was produced by the Winton programme for the public understanding of risk based in the Statistical Laboratory in the University of Cambridge. The aim was to help improve the way that uncertainty and risk are discussed in society, and show how probability and statistics can be both useful and entertaining.

For some reason I have been thinking, reading watching of/on/about/ Phil Spector these days, the legendary rock Mogul, father of the "wall of Sound" and co-creator of unforgettable songs like "Be my Baby", "And that he kissed me", who was sentenced to 19 years jail for murder. Today, half an hour ago I discovered that two new prison shots had appeared of him just hours ago...(After four years. ) "As creepy as ever...".
