understandinguncertainty.org was produced by the Winton programme for the public understanding of risk based in the Statistical Laboratory in the University of Cambridge. The aim was to help improve the way that uncertainty and risk are discussed in society, and show how probability and statistics can be both useful and entertaining.
Many of the animations were produced using Flash and will no longer work.
My daughter was born in 2002; after 3 years a male cousin was born on 17th Feb, but then after 2 years another male cousin was born on 17th June and finally, again after 2 years, a third male cousin was born on 17th Jul. All of them are from different families (different uncles and aunties). :)
