understandinguncertainty.org was produced by the Winton programme for the public understanding of risk based in the Statistical Laboratory in the University of Cambridge. The aim was to help improve the way that uncertainty and risk are discussed in society, and show how probability and statistics can be both useful and entertaining.
Many of the animations were produced using Flash and will no longer work.

Just want to tell you of a small hamlet of 16 houses were we lived. Alcaig, Blackisle Ross-shire Scotland.
My husband aged now 54 shares a bithday with 2 neighbours in the same village and are all one year apart. All have arrived to this village from various area, scottish borders, nairnshire, northern Ireland. Last year another lady moved to the village and guess what she has the same Birthday too.
