understandinguncertainty.org was produced by the Winton programme for the public understanding of risk based in the Statistical Laboratory in the University of Cambridge. The aim was to help improve the way that uncertainty and risk are discussed in society, and show how probability and statistics can be both useful and entertaining.
Many of the animations were produced using Flash and will no longer work.
I have had many many coincidences over the years, some from the "that's a bit spooky" to<br />
'What on earth is going on?" Most relate to music but there are others. I will post as many as I can remember here starting with this one:

<p>We have a digital alarm clock radio in our bedroom. If I wake in the night I squint and focus on the clock and more times than I am comfortable with the clock has shown 3.33am. Each time it happens it makes me think something is going on!
