My birthday

understandinguncertainty.org was produced by the Winton programme for the public understanding of risk based in the Statistical Laboratory in the University of Cambridge. The aim was to help improve the way that uncertainty and risk are discussed in society, and show how probability and statistics can be both useful and entertaining.
Many of the animations were produced using Flash and will no longer work.
I was beginning to date someone and was looking for a sign if I should continue it further. Funnily enough, she shows me a polaroid picture with my birthday scribbled on the lower portion of the polaroid. The polaroid was from 2 years ago but it was taken exactly on my birthdate. I remember connecting it with so many meanings just because it felt like a rare ocassion; it happened when I least expected it but also just as I was looking for a sign. Anyway, we aren't dating anymore. That experience taught me never to overvalue coincidences.
